GoWest.ai is operated by West McDonald Co. operating as GoWest.ai. We provide business-to-business AI advisory, AI readiness assessments, BizVantage services, AI policy and governance support, workflow analysis, and AI enablement services. This page explains how GoWest.ai approaches client information, sensitive data, third-party tools, payment security, AI-assisted workflows, and responsible data handling.
1. Information We May Handle
Depending on the engagement, GoWest.ai may receive or work with business contact information, company information, assessment responses, workflow descriptions, business process documentation, meeting notes and transcripts, policy and procedure documents, strategic plans, technology stack information, operational pain points, customer-facing assessment information, implementation planning materials, reports, presentations, templates, and related business documents.
2. Sensitive Data Restrictions
Clients, partners, and users should not upload, submit, email, or otherwise provide unnecessary sensitive information to GoWest.ai, BizVantage, or any related tool, platform, form, portal, or workflow unless GoWest.ai has specifically requested it and appropriate safeguards have been agreed.
Sensitive information may include health information, medical records, social insurance numbers, social security numbers, government identification numbers, credit card numbers, payment card data, passwords, security credentials, API keys, access tokens, personal financial information, employee records, customer lists containing personal information, privileged legal documents, confidential financial statements, regulated personal information, and information subject to special contractual, privacy, legal, or regulatory restrictions.
3. Data Minimization
GoWest.ai encourages clients and partners to provide only the information reasonably needed to deliver the requested service. Where detailed examples are useful, clients and partners should consider providing summaries, sample data, redacted documents, anonymized records, or representative workflows instead of unnecessary sensitive or personal information.
4. Payment Security
Online payments may be processed using Stripe or another third-party payment processor. GoWest.ai does not store full credit card numbers on its own servers. Payment information is handled by the applicable payment processor according to its own security, privacy, and payment processing practices. For billing questions, contact lesley@gowest.ai.
5. Third-Party Tools and Service Providers
GoWest.ai may use third-party tools, platforms, AI services, automation tools, hosting providers, payment processors, analytics tools, communication tools, productivity platforms, document platforms, CRM systems, scheduling tools, and other service providers to help operate the business and deliver services. These third-party tools may process, store, transmit, or help analyze information as part of service delivery.
6. AI-Assisted Workflows
GoWest.ai may use AI-assisted tools and workflows to support analysis, drafting, summarization, workflow review, policy creation, reporting, recommendations, and related service delivery. AI-assisted outputs are reviewed and used as part of GoWest.ai's advisory and enablement process, but AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or incomplete analysis.
7. Access Controls
GoWest.ai uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to limit access to client and partner information to people and service providers who need access to provide services, support operations, maintain systems, process payments, or meet legal and business obligations.
8. Confidentiality
GoWest.ai treats client and partner business information as confidential where appropriate and uses reasonable care to protect confidential information. Additional confidentiality obligations may be included in a separate nondisclosure agreement, proposal, statement of work, partner agreement, or other written agreement.
9. Client and Partner Responsibilities
Clients and partners are responsible for providing accurate and appropriate information, avoiding unnecessary sensitive data submissions, redacting or anonymizing sensitive information where possible, obtaining necessary permissions, ensuring compliance, reviewing and approving customer-facing outputs, managing internal access controls, and reviewing third-party tools before adopting or connecting them.
10. No Absolute Security Guarantee
GoWest.ai uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission, storage, software use, AI tooling, or online communication is completely secure. GoWest.ai cannot guarantee absolute security of information submitted through the website, email, third-party tools, payment processors, AI platforms, or other digital systems.
