GoWest.ai is operated by West McDonald Co. operating as GoWest.ai. We help businesses, MSPs, IT service providers, office equipment dealers, office products dealers, consultants, advisors, and channel partners adopt artificial intelligence in practical, responsible, and business-focused ways.

1. Our Approach to AI

GoWest.ai believes AI should be used to support people, improve workflows, reduce manual burden, improve consistency, strengthen decision-making, and create measurable business value. We do not believe AI should be adopted blindly, deployed without governance, or used in ways that create unnecessary risk for organizations, employees, customers, partners, or communities.

2. Business Advisory, Not Regulated Advice

GoWest.ai provides business advisory, workflow, AI readiness, governance, policy, and implementation guidance. GoWest.ai does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, insurance, employment, credit, investment, accounting, audit, or regulated professional advice unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement and performed by appropriately qualified professionals.

3. Human Oversight

AI-assisted outputs should be reviewed by qualified humans before being used for important business decisions, customer communications, employment matters, legal or compliance matters, financial analysis, security decisions, regulated workflows, or other sensitive uses. GoWest.ai recommendations, BizVantage outputs, AI workflow assessments, policies, procedures, reports, and related deliverables are intended to support informed decision-making. They should not be treated as automatic final decisions.

4. AI Output Limitations

AI systems and AI-assisted workflows may produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, misleading, or unsuitable outputs. AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs should be validated against trusted sources, business rules, internal policies, professional judgment, customer requirements, and applicable legal or compliance obligations before use. GoWest.ai does not guarantee that AI-assisted outputs will be error-free, complete, legally sufficient, compliant, or appropriate for every use case.

5. Responsible Use Boundaries

GoWest.ai does not knowingly support the use of AI, BizVantage outputs, GoWest.ai deliverables, or related services for illegal activity, fraud, deception, impersonation, manipulation, discriminatory or unfair treatment, unauthorized surveillance, misuse of confidential or sensitive data, bypassing privacy or compliance obligations, automated final decisions in regulated areas without human review, harmful or abusive use cases, false or misleading content, or misrepresenting AI-generated outputs where disclosure is required or appropriate.

6. Sensitive and Regulated Areas

Some AI use cases may involve sensitive or regulated areas, including HR, employment, healthcare, finance, insurance, legal, compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, credit, or customer-impacting decisions. GoWest.ai may help clients and partners identify workflow opportunities and governance considerations in these areas, but clients and partners are responsible for ensuring that qualified professionals review and approve any use case before implementation.

7. Client and Partner Responsibilities

Clients and partners are responsible for reviewing all AI-assisted outputs, validating recommendations and deliverables, removing or redacting unnecessary sensitive data, ensuring compliance, involving qualified professionals, training users appropriately, monitoring AI use, communicating clearly with customers when using white-labeled or customer-facing outputs, and making final business decisions.

8. BizVantage Partner Use

Approved BizVantage partners may use approved BizVantage assessment outputs, AI workflow assessments, policies, procedures, and related deliverables with their customers, including white-labeled outputs where permitted. Partners remain responsible for how those outputs are presented, reviewed, customized, approved, and used with their customers.

9. Third-Party AI Tools and Platforms

GoWest.ai may use third-party AI tools, platforms, software, automation tools, hosting providers, payment processors, business applications, or other service providers to help deliver services. Third-party tools may have their own terms, privacy policies, data handling practices, limitations, and security controls.

10. Data Minimization

Clients and partners should avoid submitting unnecessary personal, confidential, regulated, or sensitive information to GoWest.ai, BizVantage, AI tools, forms, portals, email, or related workflows. Where possible, clients and partners should remove, redact, anonymize, or summarize sensitive information before submitting materials.

11. Governance and Policy

GoWest.ai helps organizations develop practical AI policies, procedures, acceptable use guidelines, governance models, and adoption strategies. Responsible AI adoption should include clear rules for approved and prohibited AI uses, data handling, human review, tool approval, security requirements, employee responsibilities, customer-facing use, escalation paths, monitoring, and improvement.
